The first ever BSPP Outreach team event is coming…'Leafy Murder Mystery' days!
11 Apr 2013
On the 17th and 18th May Stoke Park, Bristol will be transformed into a nature investigation zone. Want to join in the fun?
We're running plant detective 'Leafy Murder Mystery' nature trails through Stoke Park woods, Bristol. People will be collecting clues of plant murders and looking at them under microscopes to work out which plant pathogens have 'done it'.
We need your help! The walk will be looking at lots of curious woodland pathogens and it would be great to have lots BSPP members involved to help out with identification, as well as general plant pathology knowledge and enthusiasm.
The event involves a primary school group on the 17th May and general public day on 18th May. There will be activities going on all day (9.30 – 5.00). It's fine if you can only come along for a few hours, your time will be a massive help!
If you are interested in getting involved, please email Katie (email@example.com). If you know of anybody else who might be interested, please forward this info on.
