ENDURE International Summer School

The 3rd International Summer School for PhD students is funded by the European Commission (6th RTD Framework Programme), through the Network of Excellence ENDURE (European Network for the Durable Exploitation of Crop Protection strategies - www.endure-network.eu).

The topic of the third Summer School to be held in Volterra, Italy, 4-8 October 2010 is "New and emerging agricultural pests, diseases and weeds". The Summer School is aimed at a maximum of 15 PhD students from any country working on a research project related to the biology, ecology, modelling and/or management of new and emerging agricultural pests, diseases and weeds. The Summer School will include (a) lectures given by internationally renowned experts belonging to ENDURE partners and other Universities/institutions and (b) team work, guided by the lecturers.
